The Student Voice series is are a resource to support discussions about complex societal issues using the voice of students. Mental illness affects people of all ages, all education and income levels, and all cultures. The stigma of mental illness continues and media often promote myths and misconceptions. The Mental Health Stigma booklet was developed to support teachers to raise awareness and reduce stigma around mental illness, and, in turn, decrease the barriers that can prevent youth and family members from seeking help.
