This booklet is designed to encourage dialogue around the theme of cultural diversity within the school community. The activities in this booklet encourage students to understand and respect cultural differences, and to appreciate the similarities they share with other young Canadians. Moreover, members of immigrant families will learn strategies to help students integrate into the school community. Finally, Dream Big Together will help educators and school administrators to embrace and promote cultural diversity within their schools.
The Facilitator’s Kit includes a copy of the booklet for parents, the facilitation CD-ROM and the printed facilitation handbook.
