A SIMPLE GUIDE TO BUILDING A FRANCOPHONE IDENTITY AT HOME
Published in a tumble format (French/English), this booklet offers exogamous couples (a Francophone parent and an Anglophone parent) or Francophone couples living in minority settings simple suggestions to help them adequately prepare their child for entry into the French-language school. It proposes courses of action for the child’s language development and provides him or her with opportunities to build an identity in which French has an important place. One section of the booklet is for the Francophone parent of the couple and the other, for the Anglophone parent so that he or she might be able to contribute to the identity-building of his or her child.
Included in the kit are a copy of the booklet, the facilitation CD-ROM and the printed facilitation handbook. Available in French only.
